New Features: New Notes & Markup Functionality for Reps - SHARE NOTES INTERNALLY!
Reps: Check out the article further along in this email to learn about some handy new features for you and your colleagues.  You can now more seamlessly share notes and other markups with peers.  You can also see all of your notes for a title across your markups in one place.

Publishers: Add your Rights Guide to Edelweiss
We're working with several publishers to load rights information into Edelweiss to be part of a new searchable, sortable Rights section within Edelweiss.  Please let us know if you'd like to add your rights guide to Edelweiss.  Also, feel free to pass this email along to the appropriate person at your organization who manages rights.

Publishers: Edelweiss Ordering Integration
We're currently testing direct order placement functionality with HarperCollins.  This new feature will allow sales reps to place Edelweiss orders directly into the Harper fulfillment systems. These Edelweiss orders can be created by the rep on the customer's behalf or created by the customer and later edited and completed by the rep.  We're excited about the efficiencies this will offer Harper and other publishers who are interested.  Please reach out to us if you'd like to discuss adding this functionality.

Cheers,

Mark

New Features: Enhanced Note and Markup Functions for Reps

The most recent release of Edelweiss added a couple of new features to help sales reps manage and share markup information in a better way.  Check our new feature notes for more details.

  • See all your rep notes on a title at once in the list view. For some titles, you will see another new tab over on the right labeled Markups. This will show any rep notes you have ever added to this particular title (ISBN) - regardless of the catalog you marked up originally. You can also click to add the other note to you existing rep note for that title in the markup you are actually working. Or, you can click to delete the other rep notes from the original markup too.
  • Share markups with colleagues, so that they can see your markups directly in Edelweiss. You can see any markup your colleagues decides to share with you too, and either review their complete markup in a 'read-only' mode, or actually see and copy individual rep notes as you work on your own markup.
