Collections are really just another way for you to organize your titles of interest in whatever way you see fit. You can create a collection across all publishers and all catalogs, basically creating a personally curated list to order, tag, email, print, market, send to book groups, give a hot-title-heads-up to your favorite blogger, whatever you can think of. You can populate your Collection with a list of ISBN's if you like, or simply use the "Add to Collection" option in the Actions menu while in the list view of a catalog.
