The Actions Menu
| The Actions Menu, found just above the first title on a catalog page, can act as a command center of sorts while you're browsing. From this menu you can easily change your view to show or hide the title content, comp titles, related items, and subrights information on the page. As a rule of thumb, people often choose to show all content and all comps when browsing through more interesting parts of a catalog and then hide that information when they want to skim through a list of titles a little faster. (Remember, too that clicking on a book's title will take you to the Title Detail Page so you can browse one title at a time for those catalogs you like to give extra special attention.)
| The Actions Menu is also where you'll find the means to email titles to anyone you like, print a very customizable document from selected titles, add titles to a collection, Tag a whole swath of titles all at once, or even (should you be a trusting soul) accept a rep's Suggested Order from a marked up catalog.
You can change your view even more by diving into the "Set Display Elements" option. This will allow you to see only the elements that you wish to see, including cover image, prices, measurements, etc. It's nice to change these display elements before you email a customer or print a PDF to further customize your document options.
As usual, please feel free to contact us at support@abovethetreeline.com if you have questions. |
